March 1, 2007: Oront Software is pleased to announce the release of Oront Burning Kit 2.The product is intended for all categories of users willing to record discs spending a minimum of time for pre-burning preparations.

The application is available in two versions, Basic and Premium. The Basic edition offers standard disc burning functionality, although combining the best features of similar applications on the market and complementing them with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. It enables users to start the program and proceed to disc burning within seconds, saving them the trouble of having to specify exact burning options and low-level settings. The basic version also provides an easy way of recording audio CDs and video DVDs compatible with standard home and portable players.

Oront Burning Kit 2 Premium Edition extends the functionality of the Basic version and gives users more control over the burning process. Advanced user can specify the type of the file system of the recorded disc and its ISO level, define the burning mode and set the volume and file creation dates. Apart from that, the Premium edition enables users to create DVD video image files, which can be very helpful for removing unnecessary materials from a DVD disc and recording useful information only. This version of Oront Burning Kit 2 is a great choice for users who wish to keep the burning process simple and intuitive, but have more options at their disposal.

Both versions of the program have the same structure. The start-up panel contains links to various tools comprising the kit. Users select the tool they would like use and see the interface of the currently selected module. They can add files and folders by dragging them from the explorer window and dropping onto the project section of the interface and checking the space indicator at the bottom of the screen. The “Record” button starts the burning process.

On the whole, Oront Burning Kit 2 encompasses the best features from the previous version and mixes them with the advantages of a great many of other burning software titles, which results in a fast, intuitive, compact, reliable and affordable solution for most major disc burning tasks.
